Frasaco A-PZ KR – Periodontal model, pink-transparent gingivae
The Frasaco A-PZ KR is the A-PZ periodontal model (upper and lower jaw) fitted with elastic, removable pink-transparent gingivae (“KR” execution, red-transparent in Frasaco terms). The A-PZ model simulates periodontosis from early to advanced stages.
- Upper and lower jaws with elastic, removable gingivae suitable for surgical exercises.
- Screw-retained teeth made of hard thermosetting plastic: set of 27 teeth A-PZ Z (without calculus) or A-PZ ZC (with calculus).
- Special teeth with one root (A-PZ ZE 1) or two roots (A-PZ ZE 2), with or without calculus.
- Threaded metal insert plate (spare part AN-4 RM SET compatible with the A-PZ series): screw or magnetic retention in Frasaco phantom heads.
Who is it for? Dental schools, dental hygiene programmes and periodontology courses. Frasaco A-CK synthetic calculus is applied to the roots and crowns of model teeth; A-P K G adhesive is used to fix the gingivae.
Spare parts: gingivae A-PZ WOK KR (upper) and A-PZ WUK KR (lower), or standard A-PZ WOK and A-PZ WUK. Variant on a demonstration articulator: A-PZ DA.
Made in Germany by Frasaco; AxeMed distributes the Frasaco range in the Benelux.

Frequently asked questions
What does “KR” mean?
KR stands for the red-transparent execution (pink-transparent in AxeMed's price list) of Frasaco gingivae, as opposed to standard gingivae.
Are teeth available with calculus?
Yes: A-PZ ZC set (27 teeth with calculus) and individual teeth A-PZ ZEC, ZEC 1 and ZEC 2. A-CK synthetic calculus also lets you apply calculus yourself.
Is A-CK synthetic calculus shipped normally?
No: Frasaco classifies it as hazardous goods requiring specific labelling and shipping. Please state quantities in advance to get any additional cost.
