Frasaco AK-6 – Pedodontic mixed-dentition model (20 deciduous teeth + 4 permanent molars), low gingival contour
The Frasaco AK-6 is a pedodontic model with mixed dentition (20 deciduous teeth and 4 permanent molars) that largely corresponds to the AK-6/2 but has a lower gingival contour: the teeth are easier to access, which facilitates first preparation exercises.
- Upper and lower jaws in stable intercuspation.
- Teeth made of hard thermosetting plastic, screw-retained; lower incisors 71, 72, 81 and 82 are inserted.
- Elastic, removable gingivae (replacements AK-6 WOK and AK-6 WUK).
In a phantom head: AK-SRM mounting plates (screw or magnetic retention) are required to use the AK-6 in a Frasaco phantom head.
Who is it for? Dental schools and universities of applied sciences starting paediatric dentistry practicals. Frasaco special teeth for pulpotomy (AK-6/2 ZPUW, ZPUWPK, ZPUL) and endodontics (ZPUF) are designed for both AK-6/2 and AK-6 models. The AK-6 Z tooth set also fits AK-6/2 models, except at positions 46 and 63.
Variants: AK-6 M (20 deciduous teeth only) and AK-6 DAK (on a demonstration articulator). For a more realistic gingival contour, choose the AK-6/2.
Made in Germany by Frasaco; AxeMed distributes the Frasaco range in the Benelux.
