Newmed Kronos B18 autoclave – Class B steam steriliser, 18-litre chamber
The Kronos B18 is the Class B tabletop autoclave from Newmed, the Italian steriliser manufacturer, with an 18-litre chamber (Ø 236 × 381.5 mm). Reference KRB10000SA10040 is the Kronos B18 in Newmed's 2026 price list (a USB version exists under a different reference).
According to Newmed's catalogue, it offers a choice of Class B cycles, including a fast 134 °C cycle of 19 minutes (pre-heated chamber), cycles for wrapped hollow, solid and porous loads, a Prion cycle and Helix, Bowie-Dick and vacuum tests. The front-mounted water pump fills the unit automatically from a tank on the floor; draining is manual or automatic. It is CE-certified under Regulation (EU) 2017/745 and compliant with EN 13060.
