Prices in the axemed.be shop are shown excluding VAT; the AxeMed invoice includes VAT. Payment is made online by card, Bancontact or iDEAL via Stripe, or by bank transfer. Orders are shipped from the Beersel stock by GLS, with charges calculated automatically according to weight and country (Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, France), and businesses receive their invoice via Peppol.
01Professional prices shown excluding VAT
axemed.be is aimed at dental healthcare professionals: practices, clinics, hospitals, universities and dealers. The prices shown in the shop are therefore excluding VAT (excl. VAT). The AxeMed invoice includes the applicable VAT.
Prices change in line with manufacturers' price lists: the price that applies is the one shown in your basket at the time of ordering. This is why our guides never quote prices: the product pages show them up to date.
What you will find on each product page
- The manufacturer's reference (for example 013230 for a Cattani AC 200 compressor).
- The specifications and documents, cited with their source.
- The price excl. VAT and the add-to-basket button.
Unsure about the right reference, the compatibility of a part or the sizing of a piece of equipment? Ask before ordering : we prefer to check with you rather than ship the wrong part.
02Paying: card, Bancontact, iDEAL or bank transfer
Online payment is secured by Stripe. Three methods are offered:
- Bank card.
- Bancontact.
- iDEAL, for customers in the Netherlands.
You can also pay by bank transfer.
The payment method is chosen at the last step of the basket.
03Delivery: from Beersel, by GLS
Orders are prepared in our Beersel warehouse, south of Brussels, and shipped by GLS.

The charges are shown in the basket before payment. Lead times depend on stock availability and the carrier: if you have a firm deadline, contact us before ordering.
Heavy equipment
A compressor or central suction unit is delivered on a pallet and must be installed by a technician. Cattani requires installation to be entrusted to an equipped and trained technician, who carries out the commissioning tests and trains the users (Cattani compressors manual, ed. 02-2023, p. 12). For this equipment, we advise you to contact us or to go through a partner dealer who provides installation in your region.
04Choosing the right reference before ordering
Most returns come from choosing the wrong reference. Our guides bring together manufacturers' data to help you order correctly first time:

For a spare part, note the model and serial number on the machine's rating plate: Cattani asks for the serial number for traced components (Cattani Smart manual, ed. 04-2024, p. 9).
Preparing for the arrival of equipment
Before ordering a compressor or suction unit, check the room that will house it. Cattani requires a room closed to the public, between +5 °C and +35 °C, with a sufficient electrical supply and earth, a floor drain and no flammable products (Cattani compressors manual, ed. 02-2023, p. 12).
05Peppol electronic invoicing
AxeMed sends its invoices to businesses via the Peppol network. In Belgium, structured electronic invoicing between businesses has been mandatory since 1st January 2026.
To receive the invoice via Peppol, your business simply needs to be registered on the network, through your accounting software or your Peppol service provider, and your company number must be correct in your customer account.
Hospitals and universities
For public institutions, AxeMed submits tenders compliant with the specifications, with the manufacturers' technical documentation, and invoices via Peppol. See our Hospitals and Universitiespages.
