The rule: the number of chairs used at the same time
A dental compressor is chosen according to the compressed air consumption of the instruments used simultaneously. The Cattani manual for oil-free 1-2-3 cylinder compressors states that the model is selected according to this consumption (p. 11).

An oil-free compressor
Cattani AC compressors are oil-free compressors (Cattani manual « Compresseur sans huile à 1-2-3 cylindres »).
Filter maintenance
« Dans un environnement propre, un échange des filtres (A) tous les 12 mois est suffisant. » (Cattani compressor manual, p. 14).
Where to install the compressor?
The Cattani manual requires the compressor and suction to be installed in a room not accessible to patients, unauthorized persons and untrained staff.
