Frasaco AK-6/2 – Pedodontic mixed-dentition model (20 deciduous teeth + 4 permanent molars)
The Frasaco AK-6/2 is a pedodontic model with mixed dentition: upper and lower jaws in stable intercuspation, with 20 deciduous teeth and 4 permanent molars.
- Lower deciduous incisors are friction-fit; all other teeth are screw-retained.
- Base made of hard thermosetting plastic.
- Elastic, removable gingivae (replacements AK-6/2 WOK and AK-6/2 WUK).
- Quick-release devices for the model mounting plate.
In a phantom head: AK-SRM mounting plates (screw or magnetic retention) are required to use the AK-6/2 in a Frasaco phantom head.
Who is it for? Dental schools and universities of applied sciences, for paediatric dentistry practicals. Compatible special teeth: pulpotomy teeth AK-6/2 ZPUW (pulp chamber filled with red wax), ZPUWPK (with caries), ZPUL (hollow pulp chamber) and endodontic teeth ZPUF. The trauma teeth AK-6/2 ZP51 and ZP61 are treated with Frasaco pedodontic strip crowns.
Variants: AK-6/2 M (20 deciduous teeth only) and AK-6/2 DAK (on a demonstration articulator). For first preparation exercises, the AK-6 has a lower gingival contour.
