2. Data we process

  • Identification and contact details: name, position, practice or institution, address, e-mail, telephone, VAT number.
  • Orders: products, amounts, delivery and invoicing addresses, purchase history.
  • Payment: handled by Stripe; AxeMed does not receive your full card details.
  • Communications: messages sent via the contact form, by e-mail or by telephone.
  • Browsing: technical data and cookies, according to your choice (see the cookie policy).

4. Recipients

Your data is never sold. It is shared only with our service providers, for the purposes described: hosting and management software (Odoo S.A., Belgium), payment (Stripe), transport (GLS), as well as with our accounting and legal advisers and, where applicable, manufacturers for warranty or materiovigilance follow-up purposes. If you request a quotation through an official distributor, we will forward your request to that distributor with your consent.

Certain service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; such transfers are subject to appropriate safeguards (standard contractual clauses of the European Commission).

5. Retention period

  • Customer and order data: for the duration of the business relationship, then 10 years for accounting records (legal obligation).
  • Contact requests not followed up: 3 years maximum.
  • Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.

6. Your rights

You may request access to, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and portability of your data, and you may object to its processing, in particular for direct marketing purposes. Write to [email protected]; we will respond within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels (dataprotectionauthority.be).

7. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures: restricted access, encrypted connections (HTTPS), and service providers selected for their level of security.
